Minor gripe, ABS plastic is rather cheap feeling.

Surprisingly, (initial impressions after unboxing I had my doubts) the waterproof rating holds up as advertised. This toy uses a proprietary USB-A to 3.5mm TRS audio jack to charge, and is only capable of doing so at a maximum of 0.6 Amps - if you have no reference to compare that to, all you need to know is that it’s extremely slow. It took several hours to charge after I unboxed it. I don’t know the size of the battery or how much use one would get off a full charge as I only got one use out of it before encountering a manufacturing defect (details below). Regardless, I’d consider the rate of charge to be too slow for the price, especially since it cannot be used while on charge.

The deal-breaker: The quality of the silicone isn’t as claimed.

I would give it three stars if not for this. After using the product for the first time and removing the silicone sleeve afterwards for cleaning with boiling water, its exterior showed small tears forming in more than one location. Immediately after letting the sleeve cool, I found it was no longer air-tight. The fact that this toy couldn’t make it through one hot water clean safely is a red flag. Real silicone is capable of withstanding temps far above the boiling point of water. Disappointed about that and will be initiating a warranty claim.
